Today’s Topic is: Books on top of my Summer TBR pile

There are so many books being released this summer that I’m beyond excited to read. In an attempt to reign myself in (at least a little), I’m only including books that are being released in June, July, and August. If I included books that are being released in September this list would be out-of-control.

A book that takes place in the Bermuda Triangle? Yes, please!

So excited for this new Neil Gaiman. Releasing today!

Earthbound by Aprilynn Pike
About a girl who can create matter out of nothing.
Release date: July 30
Conjured by Sarah Beth Durst
About a magic-wielding serial killer!!!
Release date: Aug 27
Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay
Because I love fairy tale re-imaginings.
Release date: July 23
Truly Madly Deadly by Hannah Jayne
I love a good YA thriller.
Release date: July 2
OCD Love Story by Corey Ann Haydu
Isn’t that cover charming?
Release date: July 23
The Infinite Moment of Us  by Lauren Myracle
I’m a sucker for contemporary romance. Especially in the summer.
Release date: Aug 20
A Gothic romance with a stunning cover.
Release date: August 15
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
This is getting huge early attention. My library already has it in its system. It’s very rare for them to enter YA months early.
Release date: August 20
Based on the musical Brigadoon. It just makes me laugh.
Release date: August 20
I want all of these now. I know I cheated a little, but I just couldn’t narrow it down any more. There are several books on my TBR that I didn’t include being released this summer, not to mention the older books on my TBR (which has to be in the hundreds). Just be thankful I decided not to include September on this list. There are, like, 20 books being released in Sept. that I’m dying to get in my hands.

  9. The Distance Between Us looks amazing! I have to get my hands on that one. Truly Madly Deadly is also a favourite of mine, because I love YA Thrillers! It was my Waiting on Wednesday the other week, so I'm anticipating that one. Amazing list! 🙂

  24. I am so excited for The Distance Between Us and Truly Madly Deadly. I read the first chapter of The Infinite Moment of Us and I wasn't a big fan, but Lauren Myracle isn't really my cup of tea so I don't know what that says about the book. Great list!

  29. Great list! I don't have an opinion on what you should read sooner rather than later, as I haven't read any of them. But I'm super excited for Gaiman's new one and Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. I love that cover and it sounds amazing. 🙂

  30. Everyone who has received an ARC of Kasie West's The Distance Between US says it's AH-MAZING! It's definitely something I want to read this summer as well. Eeep! And it's always great to read a Neil Gaiman novel 🙂

  33. Omg, I can't wait for SO MANY of these. Distance Between us, Ocean at the End of the Lane, Of Beast and Beauty, OCD Love Story, Infinite Moment (it's on NetGalley! though I'm too afraid to request it lol), Between the Devil, Bone Season, and Dune. WAYYYY too many good books coming out soon!

  42. I am also eagerly anticipating Of Beast and Beauty! And I had no idea that Sarah Beth Durst had a novel releasing this summer – I adored her novel Vessel, so I'll have to look into this new one! Doon and Truly Madly Deadly and The Bone Season and Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea all sound fantastic. I hope you're able to read most, if not all, of these this summer!

  48. I'm seeing Distance on a LOT of lists today (including mine!). I'm also looking forward to Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. The Infinite Moment of Us is one I want to read, but I don't think I'll get to it as soon as I'd like.
