Weekly Rewind

The new books on my shelves and my week in a nutshell.

This post is linked to Stacking the Shelves over at Tynga’s Reviews and the Sunday Post over at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Life and Blog

Life: I’m typing this on my phone for the last time (hopefully) as it seems we are very close to solving our internet issues. Yay! This week was a quiet one. I did some reading and general hanging out. We finally made plans to get out of town for a bit, so we have something to look forward to.

Blog and reading: Nothing on the blog this week. I finished Not a Happy Family this week and haven’t gotten into my next read yet.

What I’m watching: This week we watched Defending Jacob, which I liked more than he did. I’m okay with slower moving dramas and love crime mysteries.

New books: I have a small pile of pretties to share today. So without further ado, I hope you’re all having fabulous weekends!

For Review

Vampires, Hearts, and Other Dead Things by Margie Furston

A teen goes to New Orleans to find a vampire to help save her dying father.

Say It Out Loud by Allison Varnes

This MG follows a girl who prefers being quiet who is dealing with the fallout of her friendship when she doesn’t stand up for her bff against a bully.

You Goddess! by Elizabeth Foley

This nonfiction talks about the importance of different goddesses from around the world.

Well that’s it for me this week. Feel free to leave a link to whatever weekend post you do (Stacking the Shelves, The Sunday Post, etc). I love to see what books people have recently snagged and especially enjoy hearing about my fellow bloggers’ weeks. I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend!
