Today’s Topic is: Books on top of my Summer TBR pile
There are so many books being released this summer that I’m beyond excited to read. In an attempt to reign myself in (at least a little), I’m only including books that are being released in June, July, and August. If I included books that are being released in September this list would be out-of-control.
The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
Probably my most anticipated. I can’t wait for this adorable looking contemporary.

A book that takes place in the Bermuda Triangle? Yes, please!

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
So excited for this new Neil Gaiman. Releasing today!

Earthbound by Aprilynn Pike
About a girl who can create matter out of nothing.

Conjured by Sarah Beth Durst
About a magic-wielding serial killer!!!

Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay
Because I love fairy tale re-imaginings.
Release date: July 23
Truly Madly Deadly by Hannah Jayne
I love a good YA thriller.
Release date: July 2
OCD Love Story by Corey Ann Haydu
Isn’t that cover charming?

The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle
I’m a sucker for contemporary romance. Especially in the summer.
Release date: Aug 20
A Gothic romance with a stunning cover.
Release date: August 15
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
This is getting huge early attention. My library already has it in its system. It’s very rare for them to enter YA months early.
Release date: August 20
Based on the musical Brigadoon. It just makes me laugh.
Release date: August 20
I want all of these now. I know I cheated a little, but I just couldn’t narrow it down any more. There are several books on my TBR that I didn’t include being released this summer, not to mention the older books on my TBR (which has to be in the hundreds). Just be thankful I decided not to include September on this list. There are, like, 20 books being released in Sept. that I’m dying to get in my hands.

The Distance Between Us! And The Infinite Moment of Us! I'm really excited for those two books. I have OCD Love Story and I'm pretty excited about that one as well. So many good books are coming out this summer/year!

I've seen most of these listed on other TTT lists this week and no wonder, they all look so good! I did just finish THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US. It's a sweet book, although not as original as I wanted it to be. I'm also super excited about BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA.

I adore fairy tale retellings, too. I'm curious about Of Beast and Beauty and I might have to pick up Aprilynne Pike's new book at her launch. Yay for local authors! Oh! I absolutely hear ya about the September books. It's insanely awesome how many books I simply MUST get that month!
